Pretty ain’t it? Hard to believe that it’s just made of paper huh? Well, it’s made from mylar to be exact. Mylar is a kind of translucent film paper. The light fixtures in the picture were made by students at the Institute for Digital Fabrication at Ball State University using lasercut forms of mylar.
The pieces are individually cut and then pieced together on a wireframe to form the light fixture.
